Gucci shoes run small. The length is accurate on most models, but the brand itself notes opposing exceptions: the Princetown mule runs small, while the first-generation Ace sneaker runs large. No "wide" width exists in their catalog. If in doubt about a pointed toe, take a half-size up—sizing up does not widen the shoe's footbed.
The cm column is the flat foot length, from heel to the longest toe: it is indicative, at ± 3 mm depending on the brand. Gucci also publishes a "France" column shifted by +1 (a carved 37 becomes 38): this is a historical scale, please refer to the engraved number.

At Gucci, it all started with a horsebit laid flat on a loafer in 1953. The other great period, and by far the most sought-after, is that of Tom Ford, 1994-2004. A useful clarification: Gucci reconditions and resells its own past — bags, scarves, clothing — but not its shoes. We have checked: the brand's archive boutique has never offered footwear. This is exactly the work we do.
