The red lacquered sole is what makes a Louboutin, and it is also the first thing to wear out: a few evenings on pavement are enough to scuff it. In my workshop in Bordeaux, France, I fit sole protectors, replace heel tips and restore Louboutin shoes, both the pairs I sell and yours.
I only repair shoes (So Kate, Pigalle, sandals, ankle boots…), not bags or small leather goods.
A sole protector is a thin rubber sole glued under the front of the shoe. I use a red "shine" protector close to the original lacquer, so the sole stays red but no longer wears down. €35 a pair, in red, beige or black; a standard anti-slip protector is €30.
It is best fitted on new or barely worn shoes, before the lacquer is damaged. On a worn sole, it covers the scuffed area.
Worn stiletto heel tips: €18 a pair. Scuffed heel: re-covered with new leather (€80), or a touch-up of the scuffs on the heel or pointed toe (€25). Broken heel: €70.
A full resole is quoted on request: send me a photo of the sole. Most of the time, a red sole protector is all a Louboutin needs to look clean again.

€35 a pair for a red "shine" sole protector (also in beige or black), and €30 for a standard anti-slip protector.
Yes, if you plan to wear them often: the red lacquer wears from the first outings. Fitted on a new sole, the protector keeps it intact and is simply replaced when worn.

In Bordeaux, you can drop them off at the workshop. Elsewhere in France, send them by Mondial Relay and I return them the same way once repaired.
